Ja Seng Christmas decorations

we are learning to make an animation using an image we had to modify it then download as a png we did this four times each time we changed it a little.in google photos we uploaded the photo and created our animation I found it tricky deciding which image because they were all so awesome next time I want to make a better one.

If I was hired as a principle and if I had a whole lot of money I would take the students to a trip to the streets to give money to the poor second  I would want more exciting education instead of boring history lesson so the students don't fall asleep I would also make the students make them choose there favourite subject so they  could learn in there classroom i would also make new classroom for the student to learn and have better place to learn and if kids don't have any lunch than there will be a kitchen so the kids can cook and every Friday the whole school will be cooking whatever they want

We are learning how summer learning journey works. I learnt fun facts about Lorde also some inspiring things as well. It was super fun to do this because their were so many facts about Lorde.

Term 3 reflection

What I enjoyed at school this term is cultural art because I learnt a lot about countries and their life style. I did really well at basic facts test because I got one hundred percent each week. I think sports could have been better this term because we haven't done enough sports this term. One I want to change in Tui Hub is changing  the time for basic facts test because after bell we are all tired and we don't feel like learning.

Kiwiana

This is my Kiwiana it is about New Zealand
I found it sorta  tricky because we had to find information the stuff. Next time I want to to use my own words.

Catching the bird

We were watching  our  favourite movie our little brother got up and went to open the door swoop! Came in a bird we screamed the bird got terrified and went to my moms room my mom was yelling at us to get rid of the bird 

"Alright alright just stop yelling at us" Dan said 

as we tip toed over  to the master bedroom ,we heard something crunching 

" I'm not helping anymore that bird might peck on me" said my little brother

" Your not very useful are you ?" I said back

when we opened the door it felt like we were in a jungle we searched and search but found no clue. 

Crunch Crunch

 " what was that" said Ja Tsing

" I think we got a clue squealed Dan

The bird was way up there, it was on the top of the wardrobe and we were down  low 

"How are we suppose to get the bird when it is up there and we are down here even a chair couldn't reach us up there ugh! If we open the door none of this could have happened  it was suppose to be a family night" I said

"Calm down sis " said Dan 

"Somehow some way we are going to get the bird he said.

The night grew darker we had a plan, so that night we opened the door and swoop the bird went out of the house 

"Finally " I said

Maori Language week Poster

I learnt about canva to make a poster about Maori language week.
I found it easy because the designs were already there and all we had to do was just search what kind of design we wanted and write Maori language week.

I found it tricky because we had to record our voice but had to do it in Maori but I got some help from my friends.

This week we are celebrating Maori language.
I found it hard because we had to do it in buddy and we normally don't do it in buddy and also because i'm not Maori but I was lucky that i had a buddy that was Maori next time I might know a bit of Maori.

I liked most about fut was when we scored a goal.

This is the official Redhill School opening on the 5 of July. My favourite part was when they cut the ribbon and going home early.

A Tui i a bird it is endemic to New Zealand

The Tui has bluey green feathers on it's body. It has a white fluffy ball on it's neck . the tail of a Tui is dark and long to help it fly. It's beak sharp and thin to help it eat or dig for food. the claws of a Tui is sharp so it can hold on to a branch.

Tuis are smart they copy sounds like ringtones,other birds songs and sounds people make. Tuis hold their head up high as they are proud of the song they sing. their song can be heard through the forest they are very loud.

Tuis are only found in New Zealand.Many live in the north island but can be found i n the west and the south coast of South Island.

Tuis formal diet is nectar but there most favourite food is seeds and honeydew. They like nectar from the puriri, kowhai, fuchsia, rewarewa, flax, rata, pohutukawa,  tree gum, banksias.

Tuis like to live in New Zealand forest because they have a wide selection of things to eat.

Reflection-what i enjoyed of the term

This term I enjoyed moving to our new school because  it was really fun. Our classroom is  really big we are called Tui hub. What was really tricky for me this term was moving stuff to the new classroom but we got some help from kereru { the seniors !}. What I am looking forward  next term is doing more reading and and cross country.

Samoan Language week

Last week we learned about how to greet each other with Samoan language we couldn't pronounce the words properly because it was tricky next time i want to learn how to introduce ourselves properly.

Turongo and Mahinarangi

The book I read was called Turongo and Mahinarangi it was pretty hard because there was Maori words in it.

what it is to be like a soldier

It was hard for doing soldier tryouts.
The punishment was horrible the instructor would yell at you it like your in war already and you think your already are about to die I never want to be a soldier in my life. (But we knew we were safe, because our Instructor, Mrs Mundy could growl us for long, she kept laughing)

High Wire Reflection

I have been at High Wire doing a course Keeping It Real.
I learnt about electronics and  how to make a game it was really fun because we didn't have to just wait and watch we got to try out what we didn't know.
I enjoyed going on trips like: fishing, Maraitai, Hunua Falls, Stairs near Cleveland, bush walking in Hunua tracks, Kayaking
I found doing pt  {personal training } tricky because there was a lot of exercise but the running was really fun.
