Cross Country
In the middle of the race my knees were shaking while I was running something slithered across it was huge and hungry it had a green body it also had fangs. I had to run I ran and ran it followed me I was terrified it was really fast I’d hoped, it would go away I thought to myself I went up the rocky hills and down the slippery hills it felt like I was climbing Mount Everest.
“When will the race ever stop.” I said.
I was already exhausted I still had to run. My body had no more energy all that was left was thirstiness. I was nearly there but there were three people in front of me. I will never make it in time I realized to myself. I knew the thing behind was never going to be tired I wanted to stop but I couldn't. I was nearly there the beast vanished I was free like a butterfly I made it. I was very tired and proud of myself for trying my best and never giving up the beast never came back.
“Yay!”.
